my cats, chinese food, + weekly goals.

I hadn't eaten much all day, so by 3 p.m. I was famished, and that was my excuse to get Chinese food when I got to Brooklyn from my classes in the city. It's funny the excuses I make to validate my behavior. I mean, it's not like I didn't have any healthy options.
But, anyway, when I got home and started eating...

Paisley and Moses kept looking at me. I felt like they were judging me!

I even tweeted about it and one of my twitter friends responded. Silly gal :)!!

Well anyway, thankfully, they soon feel asleep. It's insane how easily they fall asleep.

Ok. fine. Hehhheeeee. Those first two photos aren't from today. But today when I saw my cats swarming around me as I ate my food, I created a story in my head about them judging me, but really I was the one judging myself. It's just frustrating when I do unkind things to my body when I know how to and why I should do better. But moving on--I've learnt that it's better to make better choices next time, instead of beating myself up.

So to that point, here's what I'm working on next week, from sunday to friday:

Fitness every day
- The gym three times: Sunday, Monday,  & Wednesday
- The shred three morning: Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday

- Tracking & eating well.
-  To make & share one or two Jamaican recipes.
-  Water, water, water. Maybe even tracking to make sure I drink enough.

Next friday I will share how my week goes. Do y'all make weekly goals? If yes, share?

Have a fab weekend!

P.S. Yesterday post and today's post are dangerously similiar. So apparently semester health goals = weekly health goals. Huh.

You know how cats (yours included) pass out so easily? That's me. I fall asleep in the middle of sentence. 80% of the time it only takes me 30 seconds to fall asleep. Craziness.

I hope your weekend and your week's goals go well!

Is Moses the orange one? He's DEF judging in that pic lol....he sure looks like it! Next weeks' goals sound great! I do make weekly goals, like I know this coming week I need WAY more water, less sodium and more creativity in the kitchen!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I do make weekly goals, but never too serious. My main goals are always to stay healthy and limit my stress. It's tough, but I always try my best!

The cats probably were-mine always have some kind of "look" about them.

Those are good goals. Simple. You can do it!

Alexia, thank you for stopping by my blog, so very nice to "meet" you! Despite our..ahem..age differences, it appears we have a lot in common - kitties, writing, and weight loss goals. :) Congratulations on your successes, and your continued journey toward health & wellness! xoxoox
