winter gym schedule.

I don’t know how bloggers who share all their meals do it!!

And it’s only day 1 of four for me…

But alas!!

After I picked Jasmine up from school in Chelsea, we decided to stop by the Pinkberry on the way home. We wanted to try the new flavor (red tangerine? Err, it’s something citrus.)

I loved it, however Jasmine was not impressed. I don’t know if she was serious though, because sometimes she pretends to not like things after I exclaim my delight.

But she did like her cupcake we got at a bakery we like (Caramel Salted? Can’t remember…)

Later at home, while Jasmine was on the phone (it’s the new rave!!) I ate dinner.

For the new semester, I’ve accepted that I have to pack both lunch and dinner for school/work days.

Lunch because I’m at school at lunchtime. And dinner because I’m babysitting till early evening, then it’s time at the gym. By the time I get home, it’s too late to eat.

Sometimes it’s okay to buy food, but I like the inexpense and safety of bringing my meals from home.

It’s always tricky to figure out what to bring, too. Today it was yogurt and salad with arugula that was going yellow. Are green vegetables going yellow still good to eat? That was a concern for me, but I felt bad wasting so I ate anyway and it tasted fine.  I’m still alive.

Here’s yogurt! Jasmine shared some blueberries with me. Best.blueberries.ever.

I didn’t photograph my salad for some reason, but imagine it with me why don’t you?

Think arugula, a boiled egg, onions, sesame seeds….

I was happy with today because I really want to make raw vegetables a priority in my diet.

Gotta run! Now?  Right right now? I’m waiting for my spin class to start.

Quickly, here’s my winter exercise schedule:

Sunday: 5:15 p.m. Long Spin Class (60 minutes)
Monday: 7:45 p.m. Spin Class (45 minutes)
Tuesday: 7:30 p.m. Hot Pilates (60 minutes)
10 a.m. Hot Yoga (90 minutes)
7:15 p.m. Ultimate Condition Class (45 minute)
Thursday: REST DAY
Friday: Elliptical session (60 minutes)
Saturday: REST DAY

Subject to change, especially if my gym friend, Sarah, and I get it together and head to the gym a few mornings per week...Sarah?! Are you reading this? :))))

I can’t believe I’ve never done a gym schedule before! I'm realizing more and more how organization in every aspect of my life is so so helpful.

The plan is to go to the gym twice on Wednesdays because I don’t have college classes, so it allows me to take a Hot Yoga class, which I was hoping to fit into my schedule, and a strength training class with an instructor I really despise because she includes, like, five sets of squats in her classes love.

Last year, I never considered a rest day ever. But for some reason, now it appeals to me. Something about it strikes a 'balanced living,' 'be moderate' cord with me. Huh.

P.S. - cornmeal porridge recipe coming tomorrow! I decided I should make it myself again before posting recipe.

OH and I forgot...the shiritaki noodles are OKAYYYY. As long as I boil the ba-jeebus out of them first, and then maybe fry them in cooking spray or butter or whatever, and make sure they are fully incorporated in a dish with lots of spices and veggies/meat. I hate that they tend to stay watery and the smell when you initially open the bag is er, not very appetizing! Prepared correctly, I enjoy them like once a week :-D
